Isabelle Davis is a country-pop singer-songwriter from right here in Boulder. She is 15 and currently a sophomore at Boulder High. From a young age, Isabelle's passion has been music. She has been singing all her life, started taking piano when she was 5, and taught herself guitar one hot summer day at age 13. Combining her love of creative writing and her new-found love of guitar, she began to write songs at around age 14. She believes that music is meant to tell stories, and that lyrics should be able to stand alone as a beautiful poem. This is the primary basis for her melodic, acoustic songwriting. In her music, she is fascinated with the tools of point of view and setting and how they can create an experience for the listener. Drawing from personal experience, Isabelle creates music with catchy melodies and unique rhyme-schemes.
Isabelle currently has 12 original songs, with many more to come. She hopes to put together a CD in the near future, and is currently doing everything she can to realize her dream of becoming a musician, putting her music on YouTube and SoundCloud in addition to performing live.
