Join us as we embark on a new course of ocean stewardship. The case studies documented in the film begin with an amazing effort in Boston Harbor to understand why ships and whales are having unfortunate encounters. It addresses protection efforts in the Florida keys and off the Oregon Coast, but what COCO finds most compelling is how The Mississippi River Delta faces a number of ecological challenges, which in turn impact important fishery opportunities in the Gulf of Mexico. Who comes to the rescue? Iowa farmers. Who ever thought farmers in the middle of the country could have such an impact. Our appreciation and thanks to our two Contributing Sponsors: Weaver’s Dive and Travel Center, and the Cain Family And to our contributing partners, Keep it Clean Partnership and the Dairy Center for the Arts And our friends at: Colorado Underwater Photographic Society, Save the Colorado River, CU Environmental Center, the WILD Foundation, Colorado Environmental Coalition, Boulder County Farmers’ Market and the Colorado State University Extension.
